NRCDR closed on September 29, 2017
The National Resource Center for Diligent Recruitment at AdoptUSKids (NRCDR) closed on September 29, 2017. It has been an honor to work with states, tribes, and territories on comprehensive diligent recruitment efforts on behalf of children and youth in foster care.
You can still access support and information on diligent recruitment in multiple ways:
- The NRCDR website will remain online and available through March 2019, so you can continue to access our publications, archived webinars, tools, and ideas from the field. Our publications and archived webinars are also posted in the professionals section of the AdoptUSKids website.
- AdoptUSKids will continue to provide information and resources to child welfare systems and families through the AdoptUSKids website, national photolisting, and the national adoption recruitment campaign, and by providing models of family support. AdoptUSKids will also offer targeted capacity-building services.
- The Capacity Building Center for States and Capacity Building Center for Tribes will continue to provide assistance to states and tribes on a wide range of child welfare topics. The Capacity Building Centers will support capacity-building diligent recruitment services previously provided by NRCDR.
- Child Welfare Information Gateway will continue to offer a rich repository of information on recruiting and supporting families, as part of its comprehensive resources on child welfare.
